Efforts are underway to bring Shah Rukh Deepika starrer Pathaan under the (SAFTA) agreement in Bangladesh. If everything goes well, this movie, which is discussed in India as well as in Bangladesh, can be released. A production company in Bangladesh has already written to the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting in this regard.
A source confirmed the receipt of the letter in the ministry and said that there is a meeting in the information ministry tomorrow at 3 pm on Tuesday. In that meeting, it can be confirmed whether Pathaan will be released in Bangladesh or not.
If there is a positive outcome in the meeting then the film will be released in Bangladesh two days after India’s release as per (SAFTA) agreement guidelines.
(SAFTA) The free trade agreement between the contracting countries is abbreviated in English as (SAFTA). The agreement was signed in Islamabad in January 2004. Although there is an agreement between all the SAFTA countries, movies are coming only from India’s Kolkata, although some Hindi movies are also imported.
But this time India’s most talked about movie Pathaan can come under this agreement.
Shah Rukh Khan is returning to the screen after more than four years with ‘Pathaan’. Going to end the fans’ wait by teaming up with Deepika again. The movie also features John Abraham. Salman Khan is also in a special role.
‘Pathaan’ is going to hit the Indian screens on January 25. And if everything goes well, it will be released in Bangladesh two days after India.
