Domm: A True Story of Survival Coming to the Big Screen

Chorki, Alpha-i Studios, and SVF have joined forces to bring audiences an enthralling cinematic experience with their upcoming film, 'Domm.' Directed by the talented Redoan Rony, the movie, slated for release in 2025, promises to captivate viewers with a true story of resilience and survival against all odds.

The announcement of 'Domm' took place at a press conference hosted at the Pan Pacific Hotel Sonargaon, where the filmmakers, including producers and director Redoan Rony, shared their enthusiasm and vision for the project.

After a six-year hiatus, Redoan Rony expressed his inspiration for returning to the director's chair, fueled by the compelling true events that serve as the film's foundation. He described 'Domm' as a testament to the extraordinary mental strength and courage that an ordinary individual can summon to overcome catastrophic challenges.

"Domm is a story of survival, of how a person can face the most extreme challenges and emerge victorious. It is a story that celebrates the human spirit and the power of hope. I am very grateful to Chorki, Alpha-i, and SVF for believing in my vision and supporting me in this journey," said Rony.

The lead role in 'Domm' will be portrayed by the acclaimed Chanchal Chowdhury, known for his stellar performances in the Bangladeshi film industry. Having collaborated with Rony on multiple projects before, Chowdhury expressed his excitement for the challenging and rewarding role.

"Rony is a very talented and passionate filmmaker, and I have always enjoyed working with him. When he told me about the story of Domm, I was instantly hooked. It is a very challenging and rewarding role, and I am looking forward to bringing it to life on the screen," Chowdhury said.

Adding to the creative mix, the film will introduce a new scriptwriting team led by the talented young director Syed Ahmed Shawki, renowned for his web series 'Karagar' starring Chanchal Chowdhury. Shawki aims to deliver a gripping and engaging screenplay for 'Domm.'
