The 'View Once' feature is also coming to voice messages on WhatsApp

According to wABetaInfo, users can also send voice messages by enabling View Once mode on WhatsApp, giving them more control over their privacy. Now users of the Beta version of this facility for Android and iOS operating systems are getting a chance to redeem. Users can see a View Once icon in the chat bar while recording a voice message with a lock.

Tapping on the icon will switch the voice message to view once mode. In this mode, after receiving the voice message, the recipient cannot save, record, or forward it. When the voice message is in view once mode, the recipient will have a chance to listen to it for a certain period of time.

The new feature is said to further enhance the protection of user privacy. Because the recipient can listen to the voice message for a certain period of time and cannot save it, send it to others and the voice message cannot be recorded.

Earlier, the View Once mode was introduced for sending pictures, videos, and messages on WhatsApp. If you send a message, video, or picture in this mode, it will be deleted after the recipient sees it once. Screenshots of these messages cannot be taken.
