Amidst much anticipation, Shihab Shaheen has officially revealed the cast for his upcoming web film “Kacher Manush Dure Thuiya”. The film stars the fresh and intriguing pairing of Tasnia Farin and Pritom Hasan.
Exploring the poignant theme of long-distance relationships, “Kacher Manush Dure Thuiya” delves into the intricate emotions that distance can trigger, fostering uncertainty and casting shadows on the foundation of love.
Known for his mastery in crafting romantic narratives on-screen, Shihab Shaheen took a distinctive emotional approach to bringing this project to life.
“While I’ve woven countless romantic tales, this film holds a special corner in my heart due to its uniqueness. It serves as a mirror to how distance challenges relationships and gives rise to misunderstandings,” shared the director.
Shaheen also praised the dedicated efforts of the hardworking crew during the smooth shooting process in Australia.
“The team behind the scenes in Australia worked tirelessly. Additionally, our experience shooting in Rajshahi was met with warmth and affection from the local audience. I’m genuinely delighted by the stunning locations we found for this web-film,” he added.
“The narrative closely echoes my own life experiences. My husband and I too endured the challenges of a long-distance relationship. Connecting with the storyline on an emotional level was truly fulfilling. My character, Sharmin, carries the weight of a troubled romantic history. However, encountering Farhan reshapes her world,” shared the actress.
When questioned about his involvement with “Kacher Manush Dure Thuiya,” Pritam Hasan recounted, “Director Shihab Bhai reached out to me out of the blue and narrated the plot. The storyline immediately resonated with me due to its captivating essence.”
Pritom Hasan portrays a RUET student who bears the scars of a traumatic past, a childhood marred by hardships. His demeanor may appear standoffish, a result of his unfamiliarity with life’s realities. Nevertheless, his life undergoes a transformative journey when he encounters love for the very first time.
“Kacher Manush Dure Thuiya” forms a part of the anthology film series dubbed “Ministry of Love,” spearheaded by acclaimed director Mostofa Sarwar Farooki. This extensive project, titled “Ministry of Love,” encompasses a dozen original Chorki films, each directed by a distinct visionary.
