Mostofa Sarwar Farooki made the movie 'Saturday Afternoon' based on the 2016 terrorist attack on Gulshan Holey Artisan Bakery in Dhaka. The 1-minute 42-second trailer of the film, which faced many hurdles before its release, was released on Tuesday evening.
As seen in the trailer, the plot of the story is wrapped in mystery and suspense from the beginning. Along with that, the shootings and torture of people who came to a food restaurant were taken, hostage.

Ahead of the release of the trailer, the makers said on Tuesday afternoon that Singapore's distributor Continental Entertainment PTE Ltd (CEPL) has taken over the worldwide distribution of 'Saturday Afternoon'.
Mostofa Sarwar Farooki said that the film is being released in the United States and Canada through India's distributor Reliance Entertainment. In this regard, he said, 'Saturday Afternoon' is being released on March 10. Then will go to other countries of the world.
'Saturday Afternoon', which has been under intense discussion since the beginning of production, has been stuck in the film censor board for almost four years. After the release of the movie, the film workers of the whole country have been waiting for months. On January 21, the Appellate Committee of the Censor Board held a hearing on 'Saturday Afternoon'.
At that time, a member of the appeal committee told the media, "Saturday Afternoon release is not blocked"! Since then, the producer is also waiting for the clearance of the censor board. Although the trailer has been released, the final censor of Saturday Afternoon has not yet been found.
