Popular small screen actress and model Tanjin Tisha's father Abdul Kashem is no more. He breathed his last at 9:55 pm on Saturday (February 12) at the Islami Bank Central Hospital in Kakrail, Dhaka. He was 72 years old.
Tanjin Tisha's co-star Tawsif Mahbub confirmed the news to the media. He said Tanjin Tisha's father was suffering from Cancer. He was admitted to Islami Bank Central Hospital, Kakrail, Dhaka in critical condition. He was in good health till Saturday evening but suddenly fell ill again and died at the hospital.
Tanjin Tisha's father Abdul Kashem was hospitalized in August last year. At that time he had a minor stroke. However, on August 9, in a status on Facebook, the actress informed about her father's recovery. This time he could not return. He did not leave the country crying for everyone.
It is learned that the funeral prayers of Tanjin Tisha's father Abdul Kashem will be held on Sunday after Johor at their own village Shariatpur and at the end of the funeral they will be buried in the family graveyard there.
