Dad kills baby girl at Thakurgaon

In Thakurgaon it has been alleged that the father killed his own daughter. The deceased was identified as Jannatul Ferdous. Police have arrested the killer's father Zakir Hossain in the incident. The incident took place at Sarkar Para village in the Begunbari union of Sadar Upazila on Thursday night. Thakurgaon Sadar Police Station Investigation Officer Atiqur Rahman confirmed the information.

Investigating officer Atiqur Rahman said Zakir got married four years ago. He is a farmer. After the marriage, Jannatul Ferdous was born in their family. Husband and wife had been quarreling for months. The killings have taken place since that source.

Zakir Hossain killed his daughter by inserting scissors in her stomach. Zakir himself has confessed to the murder. Preparations are underway to file a case in this regard. The body of the deceased child has been kept in the morgue of the hospital for autopsy investigation, the police official said. The incident is under investigation. More truth will come out at the end of the investigation.
