Earlier, on November 12, King Khan starrer Shakib Khan visited the United States to attend the 16th Channel I Music Awards. He later took part in the Dhaliwood Films and Music Awards on December 5. On the stage of the two shows, Shakib announced that he is shooting his upcoming movie in different states of the United States, which will be released worldwide. For this reason, he is arranging everything for the pre-production of shooting in the United States.
Meanwhile, the news spread in the media that Shakib Khan's permanent residence in the United States. In this regard, Shakib Khan said, it is not true. Shakib said, why am I talking about permanent residence here? If I want, I can return to the country next month. Nothing like emigration has happened. I'm at work here. Those who make movies with big arrangements understand how many months it takes to pre-production! I'm going to make my first movie in a country like America, my day and night is passing by tidying up everything.
Shakib Khan further said that american green card is given by the government of the country concerning the celebrities of different countries. This honor is not given to everyone. Those who give receive with honor. And before Covid's stay in the country, I was fine with another process. This does not mean that I am leaving my country. Many top celebrities in Bangladesh have already received green cards.
He said that Bangladeshi celebrities are living and working regularly in Bangladesh. Many Bollywood celebrities have green cards. Also, they have home-based businesses in Dubai, Canada, Australia. But they live in India and work regularly. So why am I talking about it after so long? Some people are always misinterpreted. There is nothing to be confused about.
Out of annoyance, Shakib Khan said that there are some people involved in movies who should speak in front of the media knowingly. They talk about me as if I were talking to them every day. But even in the last six months, I don't talk to them, I don't see them. It was okay before I came to America.
