Invent device to prevent corona after 16 attempts

This leads to the development of innovative thinking in the head. With that in mind, college student Apurba Majumdar developed a coronavirus protection device.
The inventor of the device, Apurba Majumder, is an HSC candidate from the science department of Laxmipur Government College this year. His father Nikhil Majumder is the Deputy Assistant Agriculture Officer of Ramganj Upazila. They are two brothers. Lives in Samserabad area of ward 7 of Laxmipur municipality.
Apurba has named his device ‘Banga Social Distance Breaking Alert Kit with Advanced Shutter Technology.’ The device is attached to the helmet. Anyone within 3 feet of the person wearing the device will sense the sensor. The sophisticated shield attached to the helmet will immediately cover the face. The device will act as a complement to the mask. At the same time, the device will send alert messages via artificial voice alerts.
The warning message is - ‘Wear a mask. Adhere to social distance. Wash your hands regularly for 20 seconds. 'The device can provide protection as long as a person is standing in front of the user. Also, the shield will cover the face for a maximum of one minute after the person in front moves. Apurba said that he will be able to improve the device with the help of the government and other concerned organizations.
Speaking to Apurba, it is learned that about seven months ago, he went out for a walk and suddenly stumbled and fell into a pile of sand. This covered his whole body with sand. Instantly the two eyelids closed. The sand could not get into the eyes. From this, innovative thinking works in his head. His idea is that if the eyelids can protect the eye from falling objects, can something like that be invented? Which will help people maintain social distance and help prevent corona.
To that end, he began to research. After failing 15 studies and changing equipment seven times, he succeeded in his 16th attempt. Invented ‘Banga Social Distance Breaking Alert Kit with Advanced Shutter Technology Device.’ It has cost more than Rs 10,000 from the beginning to the end of the research. However, it will cost 800 to 1000 rupees to make and reach the people.
The device comes with a built-in Bluetooth facility. Which can be used for various purposes including raising awareness. The wireless voice transmission system attached to the device will help the user to speak while wearing a mask. The high-quality lithium-ion battery-connected device can be used for three consecutive days on a single charge. The device can also be charged with a normal mobile phone charger or solar. It is an environmentally friendly and easily removable device. There are also radio facilities. It is made entirely in indigenous technology. There is also the facility of mobile charge from the device.
A study by the Indian Council of Medical Researchers (ICMR) found that 406 corona infections can occur in one person if the proper social distance is not adhered to. And if the distance is 75 percent, then the infection can be spread from one patient to only two and a half. Therefore, it is important to maintain social distance as a step to prevent the spread of corona. Apurba made his device for that purpose. The device will alert people or individuals within three feet of the device via an artificial voice alert.
Apurba Majumder told Dhaka Post that it took about seven months to make the device. I have failed 15 times. The equipment had to be changed seven times. I succeeded in the 16th attempt. This device of mine can be used by the general public including the emergency department, field staff, and corona affected patients to ensure social distance. The sensor on my device will operate at a 60-degree angle up to a maximum distance of 40 inches. The device can be customized if desired.
He added that corona can be spread from different animals besides humans. In that case, the sensor of the device will work in the case of other animals also. This device can be used by people very easily. He also said that he made the device from his research without advanced technical patronage.

Apurba has always brightened the face of the college in ICT or science fairs at the district and divisional levels. The projects he has created are unique. He works with innovative thinking. Works with ideas that benefit society and the environment.
He further said I have seen Apurba's current project completely. I also gave him some advice. His device only works in front size. It is advisable to make the device work in a way that works around. He took the matter naturally. However, Apurba says that it is not possible to afford the cost of making the device as a student. With everyone's cooperation, he will be able to create the project better. I am personally by his side.
