17 people died in Corona in Sylhet
In the last 24 hours in the Sylhet division, samples of 1,476 people have been tested and corona has been identified in the bodies of 357 new people. The detection rate is 24.19 percent. Another 17 people died at the time.
This information has come from the daily report of Covid-19 Quarantine and Isolation of the Sylhet Divisional Director (Health) Office on Tuesday (August 13).
In the last 24 hours, 264 people have been identified in Sylhet, 24 in Sunamganj, 37 in Habiganj, and 32 in Moulvibazar, the report said. In all, the number of patients affected by corona in the Sylhet division has increased to 49,628. Of these, 26,763 people were affected in Sylhet district, 5,675 in Sunamganj, 5,936 in Habiganj, and 7,086 in Moulvibazar.
Meanwhile, 17 more people died in 24 hours due to corona. 11 of them are residents of Sylhet district. Six more people from different districts died at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital.
As a result, 919 people died in the Sylhet division due to corona. Of these, 670 are from Sylhet district, 61 from Sunamganj, 44 from Habiganj, and 69 from Moulvibazar. 65 people died at Sylhet MAG Osmani Medical College Hospital.
