Black Widows Review: Remake wrapped in a mystery web series ‘Black Widows’

Good and evil. The two words are very relative. The point of view is bound to change. Especially in the case of human life. What was right a year ago may be wrong today. What was wrong a few days ago may be right now. Black Widows are not evil because of the bias of right and wrong. Although a remake, Radhika Anand has written the screenplay of the series with good hands. In it, director Birsa Dasgupta (Mystery, Comedy, Thrill, Action, Emotion) has given five blows. Swastika Mukherjee, Mona Singh, and Shamita Shetty have captivated the audience with the magic of 12 episodes.

‘Black Widows’ from the Finnish series ‘Mustat Lesket’. Birsa has introduced him to the Indian audience with the same name. Birsa understands the minds of women. That's how he started the story with Bira (Mona Singh), Jayati (Swastika Mukherjee), and Kavita (Shamita Shetty). All three were tortured by their husbands. That's why she planned to kill her husband by exploding in a speedboat. The plan is also implemented. But what lies can be so easily hidden? Then began the familiar game of rats and cats.

Pankaj alias Parambrata Chattopadhyay and Rinkuji alias Shruti Vyas joined the police force again in this game. Stay tuned for the rest of the story for your subscription. However, the surprise elements in the series are Sabyasachi Chakrabarty and Raima Sen. Sharad Kelkar's return as Jatin is also commendable. Sometimes Aamir Ali (Eddie), Shoaib Kabir (Vicky) come and go, the fresh fragrance of the story. Mr. Chatterjee as Ramiz, Mithu Chakraborty as his mother, and Mohan Kapoor as Lalit are impeccable. The pronunciation of Bengali actors and actresses as Bengalis is a little catchy. What if there is no innate language! However, the appreciation of Bengali actors has increased at the national level. And Jesus, Parambrata, Swastika, Paoli, Raimara are taking full advantage of that opportunity.

It would be a mistake to think of ‘Black Windows’ as just a mystery story. Birsa tells the story of domestic violence, the use of women as commodities, and the changing nature of human beings. There is also comic relief. As well as recent touches have been found in the attachment of elements such as viruses and antidotes. Sumit Chowdhury, who is in charge of editing each episode of the series, is mostly responsible for the merciless performance. Shubhankar Bhar's camera has made every location beautiful. From the beginning to the end, and director Birsa has worked out the plan well from the beginning to the end. So once you see the story of these three women on the Zee5 platform.
