Delwar rapes Noakhali woman twice before
In Noakhali, the woman was raped twice before being stripped naked and tortured by local Delwar Hossain, the head of the local Delwar force. The victim lodged a complaint with the National Human Rights Commission on Tuesday. Al-Mahmoud Faizul Kabir, director of the National Human Rights Commission (Complaints and Investigation) and head of the investigation team, told reporters on Tuesday afternoon after the investigation.
Al-Mahmud Faizul Kabir told reporters in the auditorium of the Noakhali Chief Judicial Magistrate's Court that Delwar used to make obscene offers to her, according to the woman's complaint. There were also threats to respond to the proposal. About a year ago, Delwar entered her home and raped her for the first time. He did not dare to reveal the incident out of fear and public shame. Then, a few days before Ramadan, Delwar called the woman to the boat through his colleague Kalam. There, Delwar and Kalam both want to rape her. Delwar sent the pen with the money. Delwar then raped her on the boat for the second time.
Al-Mahmoud Faizul Kabir said, the acting chairman of the commission. I have talked to Nazrul Islam. On the advice of the chairman, they will file a separate case against Delwar and Kalam for raping the woman. In this case, the panel of lawyers of the commission will handle the case in the court.
Asked about the Noakhali Police Superintendent. Alamgir Hossain told reporters that besides the previous allegations, the new allegations made by the woman will also be investigated and necessary legal action will be taken.
It is to be mentioned that the woman used to stay at her father's house in Eklashpur with her son and daughter as her husband got married for the second time. After 10 years, when her husband came to her on September 2, the cadres of Delwar Bahini broke down the door and entered the woman's house. They then tied the woman's husband to the next room, undressed the woman, and recorded the video. From then on, even though the woman had fled the area, Delwar Bahini used to give her various threats and bad offers on her mobile phone. As he did not return, the miscreants posted the video on Facebook on October 4. When the matter came to the notice of the administration, the police and RAB took to the field against them. Meanwhile, the victim filed a case in the incident but did not mention Delwar's name.
On Sunday night, a RAB team arrested Delwar Hossain, the main accused in a case of torture of women with weapons, from the Shimrail area of Siddhirganj. During interrogation by the RAB, he admitted that there were more explosives and bullets in his fish farm in Begumganj. Later, a team led by RAB-11 Laxmipur camp commander raided the fish farm and recovered six fresh cocktails and two gun cartridges. RAB has filed a separate case with Begumganj police station for recovering explosives and ammunition. On the other hand, a DAD of RAB filed a case with the Siddhirganj police station. The court granted him a two-day remand for questioning in the case. Narayanganj Senior Judicial Magistrate Fahima Khatun granted remand to Delwar on Tuesday (October 6) afternoon.
