India is giving 10 railway locomotives 'Eid gift' to Bangladesh

On the occasion of the upcoming Eid, Indian Railways is giving 10 broad gauge locomotives to Bangladesh Railway as an 'Eid gift' next Monday.

It is learned that these locomotives of Indian Railways are coming to Bangladesh next Monday. Before Eid-ul-Azha, Railway Minister Nurul Islam Sujan sees these locomotives as 'Eid gifts'.

Confirming the matter, he said, "Indian Railways will give us 10 broad gauge locomotives as a gift on July 26." This matter has become final.

The Railway Minister further said that our Foreign Minister and I myself and the Indian Minister of External Affairs and the Minister of Railways will take part in the engine gift ceremony through video conference between 2.30 pm on that day.

He added that the handing over of the locomotives would be done by Indian Railways at the Darshan border (across the Gede border)
